Adding and managing destinations in Tripluka

What a destination is

A destination is a place — a city, region or landmark like "Rishikesh" or "Jaisalmer" — that a package can be linked to. Keeping destinations as their own list, separate from free-text on each package, means the same place is never spelled two different ways across your catalog.

Every destination shows its country and a live storefront-link icon next to its name, alongside the active toggle and edit/delete actions.

Adding a destination

  1. Open Destinations in the sidebar and click "Add Destination".
  2. Enter the destination name and country.
  3. Write a short description in the rich-text editor — this is what shows on the storefront’s destination page.
  4. Upload a representative destination image.
  5. Toggle "Active" on to make it available for linking on packages and visible on the storefront’s destinations page.
  6. Save — the destination now appears in the destination picker whenever you create or edit a package.
The same form is used to edit an existing destination — name, country, description and image all stay editable afterward.
Add destinations before you start building packages for a new region. Linking a package to an existing destination — rather than typing the place name in free text — is what lets your storefront’s "Explore by destination" navigation and the Dashboard’s destinations chart work correctly.

Editing, deleting and exporting

Editing and deleting destinations works the same way as categories: an inactive destination is hidden from the storefront but keeps its data, while deleting one is permanent — reassign any packages that still reference it first.

The Destinations list also has its own "Export CSV" button next to the search box, same as Categories.
