Sending, revising and converting a quotation to a booking

How to get a saved quotation in front of a client by email or WhatsApp, what happens once it’s sent, and how an accepted quote becomes a booking.

Open any saved quotation to reach its detail page — trip basics, the full costing table, cancellation policy and terms, all in one place, with PDF, Send, Edit, Revise and Convert to booking actions right at the top.

Every action for a quotation — sending, editing, revising, converting or deleting it — lives in this one row of buttons.

Click "Send" to reach the send dialog. You can send by email or WhatsApp directly from this screen — no downloading the PDF and attaching it yourself in a separate app.

If a sending channel isn’t configured yet, the dialog says so directly and points at the settings page to fix it — instead of failing silently.

What "sending" locks

A quotation freezes the moment it is first sent, so the client always sees exactly what they agreed to — you can no longer edit its pricing or itinerary in place. Every send is logged, so the quote’s history shows at a glance whether it went out by email or WhatsApp, and when.

Revising a sent quote

Need to change something after sending? Click "Revise" on the quotation. That opens a fresh, editable copy under the same quote number (e.g. QT-0001 stays QT-0001, just on a new revision) rather than creating a disconnected new quote — so your numbering and the client’s reference stay consistent across back-and-forth negotiation.

Converting to a booking

Once the client accepts, click "Convert to booking" on the quotation. Its trip details, pricing and traveller count carry straight over into a new booking — see Recording and tracking bookings for what to do from there.

Quotation management is fully free, part of the same admin panel as everything else — no credit card, no per-quote fee, and no commission taken on bookings that come from it.
